In May of 2004 Zeneedles began affectionately serving your local area conveniently located within the professional therapeutic care district of Lompoc, California. Therapist Joleen MacEachern, L.Ac. has also been providing surrounding communities with personalized and quality care treating the whole person, both the body and mind and not just the symptoms since 2002. She received her master's degree from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine.

The Zeneedles interior reflects many relaxing sensibilities of the Central Coast area while paying tribute to the healing power of Feng shui, pronounced "fong schway" an ancient science developed over 3,000 years in the past - it reveals how to balance energies of a given space to assure health and good fortune. Our own Multi-room clinic offers a waiting area for your guests and several therapeutic suites where you'll find relaxing serenity to enjoy your individualized healing.

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine have been proven to work by re-establishing balance and harmony to the body. The improved energy and biochemical balance produced by acupuncture results in stimulating the body's natural healing abilities and promotes physical and emotional well-being.

ZENEEDLES

Hello Friends,

I try my very best to understand every patient's individual experiences and preferences so I can treat them as effectively as possible. I thought to give you some background on me as well so we can start building a productive and trusting relationship.

I graduated from UCSB in 1995 with a degree in Philosophy emphasizing ethics and public policy. In high school I was a 4-year varsity swimmer. I still enjoy swimming and especially with my kids!

I've been practicing acupuncture since 2002 when I received a master's degree from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicines. From 2003 to 2007 I volunteered my services to Healing Opportunities, a local nonprofit that treated caregivers of people with life-threatening illnesses. I also held a position on the SBCOM Board of Directors until 2007.

I trained to become an acupuncturist because I respect the idea that a person must be seen holistically and that the parts are only a sum of the whole. Without acknowledging this, a person's maladies might be chased around for years, where (as often happens in Western or allopathic, medicine) only the symptoms are treated instead of the person.

Despite my hectic professional schedule I manage to make time for family and friends. I love to cook and entertain and it's become a passion. I enjoy offering good health products and I truly love my job!

I look forward to meet you soon.

My best wishes of health and happiness to you,
Joleen MacEachern, L.Ac.
